Septoplasty

The surgeries done to correct the deviations of the septum, a structure that separates the two nasal cavities and consists of cartilage in the front and bone at the back of it, are called septoplasty . Septum deviation is a very common problem and causes nasal congestion and related aeration problems (middle ear inflammation, sinusitis, etc.). Septoplasty can be performed alone, or it is usually combined with rhinoplasty to improve nasal aesthetics.
